My client Nexion-Health, like all healthcare centers, was under intense media scrutiny during and after the Covid-19 epidemic. A quick Google search of my name with “Nexion” shows the tip of the iceberg of queries made, responses given. We confirmed all that we could possibly confirm at each instance, and discussed with reporters all the CDC-approved measures which were being implemented, sometimes changed on a daily basis. But at the end of heartbreaking epidemic, what mattered most was providing a transparent accounting to the loved ones of residents, and recognizing the healthcare warriors employed by the company. It was a time that we will never forget.
